You don’t need a Windows license to use Windows Server 2025, 2022 or 2019 on your VPS.
Once you've set up your account and got your welcome email you will be able to log into our VPS dashboard which will be waiting for you to install the Windows Server 2025 operating system on your new VPS. Just add the VPS name you want, scroll down and you will find a list of operating systems to choose from. Just pick the version of Windows you want to use.
Once you have picked your operating system, lets say Windows Server 2025 for this example, you will receive an email from our VPS control panel with your username and password. Now you just need to open Windows Remote Desktop on your PC, details and you will connect to your new Windows Server 2025 VPS.
Now you are free to use your VPS much like you would your PC. You can browse online using browsers to find the game files you need to set up and run your game server. Install mysql services such as Xampp, VsCode to edit config files and download addons just like you would at home. Windows Server 2025 makes it easy.
Running a game server shouldnt be expensive. You don’t want to be spending hundreds of pounds on Windows licenses just so you can run your server.

Unlike many hosts we build and own our server hardware. Each server is built, delivered to our data centre and racked by us. You can rest assured we are in it for the long haul and aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Making Windows Server 2025 available to our customers means you can set up and run your game server in an environment which feels just like your PC at home. Decide you want to change to Linux? No problem…you can rebuild and reinstall your VPS anytime you like, as many times as you like.
Our servers are racked in our tier 3 carrier neutral datacentre in Redditch in the UK. Tier 3 means the datacentre features multiple redundant paths for cooling, power and connectivity ensuring we are never affected by such issues.
